Lighthouse Tavern Owner Arrested

LHC has just arrived in Washington State for some time with Nikki. We should have new pictures soon, but in the meantime we have other-LH news. The owner of Lighthouse Tavern in Elon College, NC was arrested for trying to buy date-rape drugs from an undercover cop. Since we started hanging out with LHC, I've noticed a LOT of lighthouse things. They make me laugh and normally, I take pictures of these things. The other day I was at a Crafts Fair and someone had taken thumbnail sized images of famous artwork and glazed them and made them into little tiles for broches. She had bins for the different categories. An entire bin was dedicated to lighthouses. Wtf? I didn't realize there was such a demand for lighthouse goods. Sadly, I did not capture this in photograph.

However, while walking out to my car Monday I noticed a Lighthouse Transit cab from Virginia. In North Carolina... Again, wtf?

Well my time with LHC was very joyous. I took her down to DC on two separate weekends; both times it ended up raining. I was very afraid of asking strangers to wear her or pose with her, with fears they might run off with her. My biggest fear was the infamous DC bums, there was no way I was going to get her back with the weather we were having, if they got their hands on her. With it raining both times she came in handy, I was able to put on my rain coat and wear LHC over that during picturesque moments, she was so big, she came down mid thigh on me. I did get those weird looks that everyone has been talking about on the blog, as I walk by, some people would check out the coat, and try not to show expression.

This is as close as they would allow “Us” to get to the Statue of Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury of the United States , outside the US Treasury Building.

Kathryn lovingly over-nighted LHC to Minneapolis in preparation for DRUNK-uary Friday night. We received it in a bar! (Note Dave looking on in awe.) Kathryn included a special home-made accessory for LHC! MAXI PAD SHOES to match!! Note our excitement as we tear into the box...

Crystal displays the shoes here. They are slip-ons! Very beautiful and comfortable.

Unfortunately, the shoes endured a bit of upheaval during the mailing process and fell apart onto the bar floor. Whoops!Jamie and LHC reunited!!!Cristin and LHC too!Crystal and LHC had never met! But it was love at first site!Neither had Emily and LHC!

This image is alarming. No, not [just] because this garment is hideous, but because it appears this shot was taken while someone was wearing LHC and then her(?) hands and head were Photoshopped out. I mean, the finished photo looks skurry. Why not use the model you paid to, you know, model the coat? Perhaps said model was absolutely appalled at the shoot's results. Her stance is awful and robot-like. Possibly she suddenly came to her senses that the jacket is U-G-L-Y and demanded a change of contract. Maybe... Maybe the coat was modeled by an invisible lady?!? That, my friends, is very alarming.

However. Those BLUE jeans are lovely.
